Our April Road Trip is to the railroad museum in Cheyenne, called the Cheyenne Depot Museum.

Meet at the Outreach Center at 9:00 am on Friday, April 22.

The Cheyenne Depot Museum is full of history, real trains, and you can watch the Union Pacific switching yard busy even today.

The museum tells the story of the Cheyenne beginnings during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, the Union Pacific Depot and the Railroad it is named after.

You can view the Union Pacific Main Yard from the Coupler addition on the west end of the Depot.

The Depot itself is the last of the grand 19th century depots remaining on the transcontinental railroad

Cost: $4

Additional Cost: You pay for your own lunch.
